DARK GAIA'S PROFILE

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.

I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

RE 5 Release

I'm happy to hear RE5 is out as I'm a huge fan of RE. Unfortunately, I don't have a hundred bucks right now to shell out, but I will soon, and I will play it to death. Despite what I've heard about it, I'm excited to play for myself and see if the reactions people have given are well founded or not.

I'm not getting the joke either, but the choice to use the ultra detailed enemies with the normal charsets is a stylistic one. I'm trying to achieve the feel of the early (like 1 and 2 early) FF titles and if you remember, they used the same style.

Glad you're taking an interest Tyrannos, and I'll be glad to recieve any bug reports. Don't worry about the download however... When future versions are released, a patcher will be used to update.

Welcome, and yes, please elaborate. I'd love to hear more about your game making exploits.

There's also a manual install for the font included in the installation directory. If the installer won't install it along with the game, just do it manually.

Hey everyone, turns out I won't have access to the internet on the 20th to release the game due to some stuff for school, so I hope you don't mind me releasing it now. This is the closest date I can release it to the 20th. Thanks for understanding, and enjoy!

Yeah, if anything, only a minority of people have complained about the font so for now I am going to leave it as it is. However, I may release a different version with a not so stylized one as well.

Hello

Playing and making are both equal parts of the package. In fact, moreso the playing. Anyway, welcome, and if you want to find the RPG Maker, all are available here:

www.rpgrevolution.com While there you might be interested in the forums too. Being active on as many RM forums as you can is a good way to get noticed.

I have been toying with the idea of not using a stylized font, but I feel that the current one is easy on the eye for most (not all) people and adds to the atmosphere of the game I'm trying to achieve.

The story and characters took center stage in my planning phase. I did them first, then focused on wrapping decent gameplay around it. The story was fleshed out as a D&D campaign, with the players being real people, so I am weaved the real character development that occured into the game.

Thanks for showing an interest. The font matter is fortunately disliked only by a minority, and it is much better than the previous font. I've worked very hard on this game and wish you all play it. It started off less than good but slowly I've reworked it into something very good (taking on board a lot of Craze's advice).

I look forward to hearing what you think of it on the day!

BTW, this is a featured project on RRR.

P.S yes, this game takes my first rm2k3 one and kills it a thousand times.
